If you build castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them.  -Henry David Thoreau

Mr. Thoreau’s quote beautifully describes all that a writer can and should do; honor the idea, while building a strong foundation. The written word can communicate, persuade or lose a reader. As a writer it is my job to us words to frame and explore ideas while crafting easily understood narratives, giving life to stories and complex concepts that illustrate and represent facts, passion, determination and heart. I focus my current work in the areas of: human services, health, the arts and education. Creatively, my interests are memoir, poetry and creative nonfiction.

Together, we can build your story on a strong foundation.
